Get Involved

Get Involved

Become a part of the grand mission of ending poverty, fairer future, and equality. Your contributions and involvement are priceless to the development of the lowest strata of society in Malaysia.

Not sure where to start? We can help you find a way to get connected, learn more about how you can make a difference, and see the fruits of your labor make a real impact on the world.

Give

Whether large or small, we can all make an impact through donations.

The work we’ve been able to do because of donations has transformed the lives of the underprivileged. Your donation will be an expense where it is needed most in all current running community projects, giving INSAN the flexibility to respond quickly. Private donors cover our operating costs, so you can give knowing your whole gift will help group societies that we are working on with.

Other ways you can give

Sponsor a student

On average, our Free Tuition Program received around 30 students per year, and most of them coming from family with poor economic backgrounds. Your sponsors will enable us to deliver impacts to them, from purchasing books, paying the tutor’s allowance to the school attire the students need to concentrate on their studies.

Donate a book

We welcome a book or books donation for our community library. This includes fiction, nonfiction, craft books, cookbooks, children’s books, and more!

Chip in for website

Every year, our website needs a considerable amount of money for server maintenance and some other related subscription services attached to it. If you consider chipping in even RM1 for us to maintain this website, we really appreciate it.

Volunteer

Become a force for good by giving your time, talent, and passions.

There are many ways in which our volunteers support this organization, from tutoring for during Tuisyen Kasih to helping us during our events and other administrative duties behind the scenes. If you are passionate about making a difference in the life of underprivileged and are committed to giving the best chance for the future they deserve, then volunteering with INSAN may be the right place for you.

Why we need your support?

INSAN is an independently funded organization with an outstanding series of programs and campaigns. We support the urban poor communities, especially young people, ensuring that they have the tools needed to be confident and effective change-makers—seeking out long term solutions to society’s thorniest problems.

We are a small, but mighty, organization. Never lacking in ideas or motivation, but often lacking in resources, we rely on our wonderful supporters in so many ways. Donations allow us to continue our brilliant work; from small, regular donations, to those who attend fundraising events.

Businesses and corporations offer us invaluable support in a range of ways.

We are supported by a fantastic network of brilliant volunteers, and we offer a range of volunteering opportunities with varying levels of time commitment.

Whatever way you’d like to support us, get in touch.

We know that a fairer future is possible; a world in which at-risk teenagers from the lowest economy-strata families that generally neglected—mostly by negative perceptions, are positively seen, authentically heard, and can lead meaningful social change. But we can’t do this alone. Join us in making our vision a reality.

It is imperative.

If, like us, you want real social change; please donate today. We are an independently funded organization with a bold aim: to end inequality.

We know that thousands of people share our vision for a fairer future, and we rely on your donations to continue our pioneering work.
